Who We Are

Tennessee Elder Justice Conference

Tennessee Elder Justice Conference

The Tennessee Elder Justice Conference is an effort of the East Tennessee Elder Justice Coalition, a project of ETHRA / East Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability.

The guiding principle of the statewide conference is to change the culture of aging by combating elder and vulnerable adult exploitation and abuse in every sector of our communities through education, investigation, legislation and prosecution.

The conference, which seeks to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds, will be held at Crowne Plaza. It will begin on Tuesday, June 27th with a 3-hour Ethics training at 12:00 pm. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at 9:00 am and the conference will conclude at approximately 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 29th.

With nationally recognized speakers, panel presentations and best practice workshops led by experts in Legal, Education, Research, Advocacy and Financial Institutions, this is a prime opportunity for agencies to partner with the Tennessee Elder Justice Conference.
